Features:

The GefenTV HDMI CAT5-LR extends crystal-clear 1080p full HD visuals and up to 7.1-channel digital audio at a maximum distance of 250m using two standard CAT5 cables. A single CAT5 cable can be used if the HD display's technical parameters (EDID) are handled by the source equipment (please see Notes below for further details).

Note:
The GefenTV HDMI CAT5-LR is HDMI 1.2 and DVI 1.0 compliant. It does not support HDCP-encoded sources.

Single-cable note:
If the EDID video frequency data parameters of the monitor are remembered by the source equipment, a single CAT5 cable can be used for signal extension instead of two cables since continuous capture of EDID information will no longer be necessary to maintain a correct picture.
